How it works

The pane is a stepper, not a dashboard. The only primary CTA is Analyze selection.

  1. Data. Usable n, missing, non-numeric, unique count, Tukey flags. Outliers are flagged, not deleted.
  2. Profile. The fingerprint: type, shape hint, skew, kurtosis, grouping, series vs cross-section.
  3. Intent. Describe, or compare groups when a label column sits next to the numbers. Dist and Forecast appear as handoff links only.
  4. Match. Ranked location and spread. DNA cards and Learn shorts. Pin an alternate with a note for audit — the engine rank does not change.
  5. Evidence. Histogram, box (grouped when comparing), ECDF.
  6. Report. Candidate policy paragraph plus the statistic table you will submit.
  7. Export. Write WhichStat_Results (named tables), download JSON (no raw vector), download PDF, copy the interpretation.
Copy rule: “best supported among candidates on this sample” — never “the correct statistic.”
